Editorial : Harper’s Bazaar

Emily Ratajkowski posed for Harper’s Bazaar magazine this month. She is the new up and coming “it” girl, becoming famous from Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines music video to the mistress opposite Ben Affleck in Gone Girl. Now, playing the beauty bombshell in Zac Efron’s We Are Your Friends this summer she has become one to watch.

The spread features some of the best white ensembles I think I’m in love! #AllWhiteEverything

Editorial : Jennifer Lawrence for Dior

Dior just released a new campaign for the brand’s latest Be Dior handbag, and Jennifer Lawrence is once again showing off her fresh-face beauty with minimal makeup and a tousled hairdo. She did extend her contract with Dior for three years, so we will be seeing a lot of her lately (no complaints)

Feature Film : Two Days One Night, Inherent Vice

Here are the last films out of the list of 18 films nominated for the Oscars (there’s more nominated but these were the only ones I was interested in). I hoped you loved all the movies as much as I did, I am pretty thrilled this is the first year I have actually watched all the Oscar films I wanted to! Enjoy the Oscars tomorrow night!

Two Days, One Night follows a young Belgian mother, who discovers that her workmates have opted for a significant pay bonus, in exchange for her dismissal. She has only one weekend to convince her colleagues to give up their bonuses so that she can keep her job. (beware there are subtitles)

Inherent Vice is a period film set in 1970, that follows a drug-fueled Los Angeles detective, Larry “Doc” Sportello, who investigates the disappearance of a former girlfriend.

18 Best Dresses from the Oscars

I am so thrilled for the Oscars this Sunday so why not take a look back at some of my favorite dresses of all time from the Oscars past! Which ones are your favorites?

Feature Film : Selma : Wild : The Judge

Selma follows Martin Luther King’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965. David Oyelowo plays the inspiring Martin Luther King alongside Oprah Winfrey who plays Annie Lee Cooper as well as produces the film. This period film is inspiring and powerful! Loved watching it! And the music by John Legend and Common is also up for an Oscar!

Wild follows Cheryl Strayed, played by Reese Witherspoon, as she hikes 1,100 miles as a way to recover from a recent catastrophe. This film also received two Oscar nominations, one for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for Reese Witherspoon, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for Laura Dern.

Robert Downey Jr. stars in the film The Judge alongside Robert Duvall, as a big city lawyer who returns to his hometown where his father (Duvall), the town’s judge, is suspected of murder. Hank (Downey Jr.) sets out to discover the truth and, reconnects with his estranged family. Any film with Robert Downey Jr. is a success to me (especially with is sarcastic one-liners)!

15 Films of 2015

Here’s a list of my must see films of this year!! (click on the title to see the trailer)! Which ones are you excited to see?

The Last Five Years – features Pitch Perfect alum (and face of Kate Spade) Anna Kendrick as Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress, and Jeremy Jordan as Jamie Wellerstein. Based on the musical, the two illustrate the struggle of their love affair!

Age of Adaline – Ryan Renyold’s other half (and new mother) Blake Lively stars as Adaline, a young woman born at the turn of the 20th century who becomes ageless after an accident. Of course there is a handsome man (Nashville’s Michiel Huisman) that she meets who is worth losing her immortality.

Cinderella – The classic disney animation film comes to life with Lily James as the new Cinderella.

The Longest Ride – Three words :1. Scott 2. Eastwood 3. Cowboys! (yes that is Clint Eastwood’s son) How could not say no to that? Based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks (swoon) this film follows the lives of a young couple as they intertwine with a much older man as he reflects back on a lost love.

Insurgent – The sequel to the famous Divergent follows Beatrice (Shailene Woodley) as she confronts her inner demons and her fight against a powerful alliance that threatens to tear her society apart.

Pitch Perfect 2 – Does this even need an plot summary…NO! If you don’t know this film then that is your loss!

Clouds of Sils Maria – A veteran actress (Juliette Binoche) comes face-to-face with an uncomfortable reflection of herself (Chloe Grace Moretz) when she agrees to take part in a revival of the play that launched her career 20 years earlier.

Jurassic World – Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park. After ten years of operation and visitor rates declining, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly! Starring Anna Faris’s better half and Parks & Recreation alum Chris Pratt!

Fantastic Four – Don’t know this film? No worries, watch the 2005 version of it (with Jessica Alba and Chris Evans) that’ll give you an idea of what it is about! Starring Whiplash superstar Miles Teller, and Kate Mara.

Little Accidents – Elizabeth Banks (Effie, as I like to call her) stars in the film following a small town still living in the shadow of a terrible coal mine accident, the disappearance of a teenage boy draws together a surviving miner, the lonely wife of a mine executive, and a local boy in a web of secrets.

EntourageDrive Me Crazy alum and all-around-good-looking-guy Adrian Grenier stars in the film following the series that ended in 2011. Crazy excited to see this, you know there is going to be hundreds of celebrity appearances in this film.

Sand Castles – In rural Indiana, Noah and his family wrestle with the mysterious return of his now mute sister Lauren, who was kidnapped and held captive for over a decade.

Mockingjay Part II (trailer not yet released) – to make it short it is the final film of the Hunger Games franchise. Still curious? You have 9 months to read the book before the film is released!

Trainwreck – Amy Schumer (hilarious comedian and I think everyone’s girl crush) stars alongside SNL alum Bill Hader (Stefan for short) in this (what looks to be a) romantic comedy about a commitment-phobic career woman, that has never thought that monogamy was ever possible, who meets a good guy that may change her mind.
